ELOPEMENT CEREMONY- simple and romantic

Our pondview location in Watertown CT or your own site.  I like to call this the Cheap and Chearful ceremony. 

The service lasts approximately 10 minutes and includes the following: opening words, statement of intention (the "I do's"), vows, an exchange of rings, the signing of the marriage license, blessing, pronouncement and a kiss!. Sometimes I may even be able to perform these on the day that you call. This option is suitable for couples who want something informal but do not want the "Courthouse/Town Hall" environment. It can often be arranged on very short notice.

I will offer a pre-written elopement ceremony for weddings, vow renewals or gender-neutral commitment ceremonies.

Elopement Ceremony Includes:

*Your choice of one of my pre-written ceremonies in an informal setting *Arrival of officiant 10 minutes prior to start of ceremony if not at the Watertown location. Price may be a little higher if over 20 miles.

What's not included

The Elopement ceremony is an affordable and tasteful alternative to the County Courthouse or Town Hall wedding. It is designed for intimate, informal marriages and is not meant for couples who want more formability than this ceremony allows (such as a processional, seated guests, a wedding party, more than 2 guests etc.) If you are looking for those features at a still-affordable price, then we suggest our Basic Ceremony.

BASIC CEREMONY-.a short & sweet, budget-priced ceremony for you and your guests.  $350

This affordable, beautifully-worded, pre-written ceremony lasts approximately 12-15 minutes (exclusive of your processional time) and includes the following:

*Processional

*Opening words (also known as the greeting) *Statement of Intention (the "I do's")

*Vows

*Exchange of rings

*Signing of the marriage license (either during or before the ceremony)

*Final blessing

*Pronouncement of the couple as husband and wife (followed by a kiss!)

*Recessional

You will consult briefly with me beforehand via phone and email and I will help you put together your processional order and other details of your ceremony.

Prior to the wedding day, I will email you a detailed, personalized ceremony script. We'll also schedule a 15-20 minute phone call a few weeks before the wedding to go over the script and answer any questions you might have. As your Justice of the Peace I  will always be available via telephone and email to answer and handle any ceremony-related issues.

On your wedding day, I will arrive 20 minutes prior to the start of your ceremony, line up your wedding party and ensure that they get down the aisle in fine style. I will also use that time to coordinate with your musicians and photographer to make sure everything runs smoothly.
